US Patent Application approved

SCF's US Patent application entitled 'Method for combining materials' has been approved by the US Patent Office.  The patent will be published soon by the US Patent Office.  This invention is a significant development for enhancing the function of generic materials. SCF Processing participation at BioNDays 2010

BioNDays is an international symposium and partnering event taking place in Valence France from the 21st to the 23rd April. The event theme is Preservation and Extraction of Natural Products.  SCF Processing Ltd will share its bulk processing and supercritical fluid expertise at this event.

International Award for SCF Processing's CEO

SCF Processing Ltd is pleased to announce that its co-founder and CEO was awarded the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM3) International Award for 2009. The IoM3 citation is:-

International Award (formerly the Overseas Award)
For a member resident overseas, for the best paper presented at an Institute symposium, or published in a mining journal or for notable contribution to development of the Institute overseas.

Awarded to Dr Siobhan Matthews, SCF Processing. Siobhan has made a major contribution to the Younger Member's Committee, and took the lead in last year's Young Persons' World Lecture Competition. She has fostered links in the USA.... with a view to setting up a new overseas local society. Based in Ireland, she is a Council member and former member of the Managing Board.





MPA 2009

Dr Siobhan Matthews of SCF Processing was invited to give a keynote talk at the MPA 2009 meeting in Manchester.  The talk entitled Supercritical Fluid-Assisted Materials Processing gave an overview of the current and potential materials processing applications for this emerging technology area.

Advanced Engineering Materials publication
