The process development service: Process development is undertaken when a feasibility study has indicated that the proposed manufacturing route is feasible, for example the manufacturing route will increase efficiency, reduce operational costs and/or reduce environmental impact. During the process development step our technology is modified to suit our customers specific needs such as their raw material requirements, machinery and manufacturing capability.
Before a modified or new process is introduced into your company production trials will be undertaken at SCF. These trials provide valuable production data, which can reduce delays when full production starts at your company. Your staff can also be trained at SCF before full production begins.
The facilities at SCF can be used by your company to carry out your own research and development in confidence without interrupting your current processing/manufacturing schedules.
